A film for members of the Wantage & Grove U3A GENEALOGY group. It discusses what needs to be thought about when deciding how best to present the fruits of our labours to following generations. It's a personal view by Andrew Gregory, one of the group's members.

The Society of Genealogists have an online event in October 2026 - ALL ABOUT THAT PLACE. People have been asked to provide a ten-minute film based loosely on that theme so that, in effect, they are speakers at the conference.
As far as Andrew Gregory's grandfather, Sidney Lee GREGORY (1875-1952), was concerned - it wasn't about that one place but the multitude of places which were important to him. My film likens his life to a pebble tossed across the surface of a lake. Skipping and hopping from one achin tan to the next.
